DECLARING FRIDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1979, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD.
WHEREAS, the 41st Charter Anniversary of the City of Bacolod falls on Friday, October 19, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the people therein desire to celebrate, with fitting ceremonies, this milestone in the history of their city;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, October 19, 1979, as a special public holiday in the City of Bacolod, but it shall be a regular working and school day.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 17th day of October, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen hundred and seventy-nine.
