BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1919

DECLARING FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2009. AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL

WHEREAS, the Province of Negros Orienta! will be celebrating the Buglasan Festival on October 16 — 25, 2009;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the trovince of Negros Oriental the opportunity to participate and celebrate the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan requested that October 23, 2009 be ceclared as special non- working day in the Province of Negros Oriental.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, October 23, 2009, as special (non-wol king) day in the Province of Negros Oriental.
