BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO, 1943

DECLARING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2009, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BENGUET

WHEREAS, Monday, November 23, 2009, marks the 109" Foundation Day anniversary of the Province of Benguet;

WHEREAS, in order for the people of the Province of Benguet be given the opportunity to participate and celebrate the occasion, it is but fitting and proper to declare November 23, 2009 as special non-working day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, November 23, 2009, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Benguet.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
