, MAI-,,4.C4,'NANG Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1956 DECLARING MONDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2009, AS SPECTAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF VIRAC, PROVINCE OF CATANDUANES WHEREAS, Monday, December 7, 2009, marks the celebration of "Kaaldawan Nin Virac" of the Municipality of Virac, Prcrvince of Catanduanes; WHEREAS, "Kaaldawan Nin Virac" is a cultural event set to coincide with the celebration of the town fiesta; WHEREAS, the combined celebration of the "Kaaldawan Nin Virac" and town fiesta will encourage active participation of the 63 barangays in Virac, as well as non-government organizations, civic organizations and other line agencies in various phases of events that have both religious and historical significance and will ultimately pave the way for the promotion and advancement of the tourism industry, which is a big source of revenue. NOW/ THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MAcAPAGAt--ARRoyo, do hereby declare Monday, December 7, 20A9, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Virac, Province of Catanduanes.
