PROCLAMATION NO. 1974

DECLARING MONDAY, JANUARY 18, 2010 AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN PAGADIAN CITY

WHEREAS, the City of Pagadian celebrates its annual fiesta on January 8-18, 2010 dubbed as the “Pasalamat Festival 2010”;

WHEREAS, the Office of the City Mayor requested that Monday, January 18, 2010 be declared as special (non-working) day in the City of Pagadian;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Pagadian, be given full opportunity to participate and celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL--ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, January 18, 2010, as special (non-working) day in Pagadian

City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
