BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1976

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TARLAC

WHERAS, Wednesday, January 20, 2010, marks the 8" Malatarlak Festival of the City of Tarlac;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of Tarlac City the opportunity to participate and celebrate the occasion, the Office of the City Mayor requested that January 20, 2010, be declared as special non-working day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, January 20, 2010, as special (non-working) day in the City of Tarlac.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
