Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1977

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LIPA

WHEREAS, Wednesday, January 20, 2010, marks the celebration of the feast day of St. Sebastian, the patron saint of the City of Lipa;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lipa, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, January 20, 2010, as special (non-working) day in the City of Lipa.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
