BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 1998

DECLARING MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2010, AS SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF PARANAQUE

WHEREAS, Saturday, February £3, 2010, marks the cityhood anniversary of the City of Parafaque;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Parafiaque, celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Mayor requested that Monday, February 15, 2010, be declared as special (non-working) day instead of February 13, 2010, which falls on a Saturday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Parafiaque, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, February 15, 2010, as special (non-working) day in the City of Parafaque.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
