BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 204

DECLARING FRIDAY, 05 MAY 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF SANTIAGO

WHEREAS. under Republic Act No. 7720, the Municipality of Santiago was converted into an independent component city on 5 May 1994;

WHEREAS. Friday, 05 May 2017, marks the celebration of the Foundation Day of the City of Santiago,

WHEREAS. tt is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Santiago, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies

NOW, THEREFORE, |, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday, 05 May 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Santiago.
