(PAPC) is a non-profit organization of Respiratory Care Practitioners composed of respiratory therapists, doctors and nurses; WHEREAS, PAPC aims to encourage, develop, and advance the art and science of respiratory care by promotion of the understanding and utilization of respiratory therapy; WHEREAS, there is a need to focus national awareness and consciousness in the prevention and treatment of res-piratoryailments; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of thePhilippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the third week of July of every year as Respiratory Care Week.
