PROCLAMATION NO. 2080

DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 25, 1981, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF AKLAN.

WHEREAS, Saturday, April 25, 1981 marks the Silver Anniversary of the creation of Aklan Province; and

WHEREAS, the people of the Province of Aklan should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare April 25, 1981, as a special public holiday in the Province of Aklan, but the day will be a regular working and school day.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 15th day of April, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-one.
