MALACANANG RESIDENCE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION No. 215 DECLARING WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, 1964, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ILOILO AND IN THE CITY OF ILOILO WHEREAS, the nineteenth anniversary of the liberation of Iloilo Province from the Imperial Japanese Forces falls on March 18, 1964; and WHEREAS, the people of the Province and City of IloilCl should be given full opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies; Now, THEREFORE, I, Diosc1ado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested. in me by section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Wednesday, March 18, 1964, as a special public holiday in the province and city of Iloilo.
