BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 219

DECLARING THURSDAY, JULY 18, 2002, AS A SPECIAL NON- WORKING DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF COTABATO

WHEREAS, Thursday, July 18, 2002, marks the 36th Foundation Day Anniversary of the Province of South Cotabato;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of South Cotabato be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their province’s history with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Thursday, July 18, 2002, as a special non-working day in the Province of South Cotabato.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my hand: and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
