BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 220

DECLARING TUESDAY, JULY 23, 2002, AS A SPECIAL NON- WORKING DAY IN BATANGAS CITY

WHEREAS, Tuesday, July 23, 2002, marks the Foundation Day anniversary of Batangas City;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the residents of Batangas City be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Tuesday, July 23, 2002, as a special non-working day in Batangas City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
