PROCLAMATION NO. 221
DECLARING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 1988, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF CEBU.
WHEREAS, Wednesday, February 24, 1988, marks the 51st Charter Anniversary of the City of Cebu; and
WHEREAS, the people of the City of Cebu should be afforded the opportunity to commemorate the event with appropriate ceremoni¢s.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, February 24, 1988, as a Special Day in the City of Cebu.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
