PROCLAMATION NO. 2246

DECLARING THURSDAY, DECEMBER 2, 1982 AS SPECIAL NON-WORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN PASAY CITY.

WHEREAS, the residents of Pasay City celebrate its 119th Foundation Anniversary and 35th year as a City on December 2, 1982;

WHEREAS, the residents desire full opportunity to participate in the various activities scheduled for the day;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, December 2, 1982, as a special non-working public holiday in Pasay City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done in the City of Manila, this 26th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-two.
