BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 229

DECLARING FRIDAY, 23 JUNE 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TANDAG, PROVINCE OF SURIGAO DEL SUR

WHEREAS, on Friday, 23 June 2017, the City of Tandag, Surigao del Sur, marks the celebration of its Charter Day; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tandag, Surigao del Sur, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday, 23 June 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Tandag, Surigao del Sur.
