SY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 230

ESTABLISHING AS DOKA REMEDIOS TRINIDAD-GENERAL, TINIO WATERSHED FOREST RESERVE FOR PURPOSES OF PROTECTING, MAINTAINING, OR IMPROVING ITS WATER YIELD AND PRO- VIDING RESTRAINING MECHANISMS FOR IMPROPER FOREST EXPLOITATION AND DISRUPTIVE LAND-USE, A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF DOKA REMEDIOS TRINIDAD AND GENERAL TINIO, PROVINCES OF BULACAN AND NUEVA ECIJA, RESPECTIVELY, ISLAND OF LUZON, PHILIPPINES

Upon the recommencation of the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources and pursuant to the powers. vested in ne oy law, I; CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, disposition or settle— ment and set aside for watershed and other ecological enhance- ment purposes, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to the operations of previous proclamations reserving any portion thereof for specific purposes, a certain parcel of land of the public domain situated in the Municipalities of Dofia Remedios Trinicad and. General Tinio, Provinces of Bulacan and Nueva Ecija, respectively, as shown in the Forest Managemént Bureau Map W.R. No. 73, with che following des- eription:

The area covered by the reservation shall be under the administrative jurisdiction, supervision and control of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources through its Forest Management Bureau in coordination with other agencies of the sovernment with Che objective of maintaining its usefulness as a source of water for domestic, agriculture and other forestry purposes.
