rJ1 P U fll,r-1 MALACANANQ Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO.2» AUTHORIZING ANEW THE GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 931, dated June 26, 1992, the Goodwill Industries of the Philippines, Inc., was authorized to conduct a national fund campaign until June 26, 1993; WHEREAS, the Goodwill Industries of the Philippines,Inc., needs more time to conduct its fund campaign to enable it to support its various rehabilitation programs and ser-vices; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of thePhilippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Goodwill Industries of the Philippines,Inc., to conduct a national fund campaign for a period of one (1) year effective upon the promulgation of this Procla-mation. For this purpose, all donations, bequests, and gifts received by the Goodwill Industries of the Philippines, Inc., for the implementation of its programs and activities shall be entitled to all the tax exemptions and deductibility benefits provided in the appropriate provisions of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended, and its implement- ing rules and regulations.
