PROCLAMATION NO. 233

DECLARING FRIDAY, 26 MAY 2023, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF TARLAC

WHEREAS, the Province of Tarlac will mark the commemoration of its Founding Anniversary to be known as the Araw ng Lalawigan ng Tarlac on 28 May 2023;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Province of Tarlac to fully participate in the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan requested that 26 May 2023, Friday, be declared as a special (non-working) day in lieu of 28 May 2023 which falls on a Sunday;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Tarlac be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Friday, 26 May 2023, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Tarlac.
