PROCLAMATION NO. 234 —

DECLARING SATURDAY, APRIL 2, 1988, A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUSLIC HOLIDAY.

WHEREAS, April 2, 1988, falls on a Saturday between Good Fridey and-Easter Sunday, hoth non-working nolidays,

WHEREAS, the said cay April 2, 1988, may be declared non- working special public holiday without detriment to public service, to allow our peaple uninterrupted opportunity to observe and purder on the significance of the lenten seeson.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON €,. AQUING, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested. tn me by Taw, do hereby declare Saturday, April 2, 1988, @ non-working special oualic holiday:
