BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 237

DECLARING SATURDAY, 20 AUGUST 2011, AS A SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LUCENA

WHEREAS, Saturday, 20 August 2011, marks the 50" Charter Day anniversary of the City of Lucena;

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the City of Lucena the opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion, it is but fitting and proper to declare 20 August 2011, as a special non-working day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO Hl, do hereby declare Saturday, 20 August 2011, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Lucena.
