BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 238

DECLARING MONDAY, 19 JUNE 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN MUNICIPALITY OF CARMEN, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL NORTE

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Carmen, Davao del Norte was created under Republic Act No. 4745 dated 18 June 1966;

WHEREAS, on Monday, 19 June 2017, the Municipality of Carmen, Davao del Norte will celebrate its Araw ng Carmen;

WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Municipality of Carmen, Davao del Norte, celebraie the occasion, the Sangguniang Bayan of Carmen, Davao del Norte requested that Monday, 19 June 2017 be declared as a special non-working day, instead of 18 June 2017, which falls on a Sunday; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Carmen, Davao del Norte, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare

Monday, 19 June 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Carmen, Davao del Norte.
