BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 239

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 4 (s. 1920) WHICH RESERVED CERTAIN PARCELS OF PUBLIC LAND IN AMPAYON, BUTUAN CITY FOR SCHOOL SITE PURPOSES, BY GRANTING OWNERSHIP THEREOF TO THE CARAGA STATE UNIVERSITY (CSU) BY VIRTUE OF REPUBLIC ACT (RA) NO. 9854

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Philippines, da hereby amend Proclamation No. 4 (s. 1920), which reserved certain parcels of public land in Ampayon, Butuan City for school site purposes, by granting ownership thereof to the CSU by virtue of RA No. 9854, located in Ampayon, Butuan City, subject to private rights, if any there be, which parcels of land are particularly described as follows:

A PARCEL OF LAND (Lot 168, REL-1779 being a portion of Lot 168 & 170, Cabadbaran Q-88), situated in the Barrio of Ampayon, City of Butuan, Province of Agusan del Norte, Island of Mindanao. Bounded-on the E., along line 1-2 by lot 166, Cabadbaran Q-88; on the S., along line 2-3 by the road; on the W., along line 3-4 by Lot 170, Rel-1779; and on the N., along line 4-1 by the road. Beginning at a point marked

“1” on the plan being S., 21 deg. 41’E., 19512.74 meters from BLLM'No. 1, Mp. of Cabadbaran. Thence:

N., 79 deg. 49’E., 200.00 m. to point 2; S., 10 deg. 11’E., 800.00 m. to point 3; S., 79 deg. 49’W., 200.00 m. to point 4; N., 10 deg. 11’W., 800.00 m. to point of beginning.

Containing an area of ONE HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND (160,000) SQUARE METERS, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground as follows: points all corners by PS, cyl., conc. mons. 15 x 40 cms. Bearings true, date of original survey, September 1913-March 1914 that of the subdivision dated October 11-31 — November 7-8, 1962 executed. by Federico J. Lamigo Geodetic Engineer and approved on March 29, 1963.

Beginning at the point marked “1” on the plan being S., 20 deg. 32’E., 19437.83 meters from BLLM. No. 1, Mp. of Cabadbaran Q-88. Thence:

Bounded on the NW., along line 1-2 by proposed road; on the NE., along lines 2-3-4 by Public Land; on the SE., along lines 4-5-6-7-8 by Public Land; and on the SW., along lines 8-9-1 by Public Land. Beginning at the point marked “1” on the plan being S., 46 deg. 31’'W., 1829.33 m. from BLLM. No. 2 (Ampayon). Thence:
