BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 240

DECLARING TUESDAY, 27 SEPTEMBER 2011, AS A SPECIAL (NON- WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MALVAR, BATANGAS

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Malvar, Batangas marks the 146" birth anniversary of General Miguel Malvar on Tuesday, 27 September 2011;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Malvar, Batangas be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, |, PAQUITO N. OCHOA JR., Executive Secretary, by authority of His Excellency, BENIGNO S. AQUINO Iil, do hereby declare

Tuesday, 27 September 2011, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Malvar, Batangas.
