DECLARING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 02, 2002, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF BAGUIO FOR THE CELEBRATION OF ITS 938” CHARTER ANNIVERSARY

WHEREAS, Sunday, September 01, 2002 marks the 93" Charter Anniversary of the City of Baguio;

WHEREAS, in order for the people of this city to actively participate and give meaning to this special celebration, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of Baguio has requested that the aforesaid date be declared on Monday, September 02, 2002;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of the City of Baguio be given the full opportunity to celebrate their Charter Anniversary with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27 of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Monday, September 02, 2002, as a special day in the City of Baguio. .
