PROCLAMATION NO. 247

AUTHORIZING THE BROTHERHOOD OF CARING SAMARITANS FOUNDATION INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN FOR @& FERIGD OF ONE YEAR.

WHEREAS, the Brotherhood of Caring Samaritans, Inc., 1S @ non-steck, non-profit humanitarian organization devoted to carry on such charitable, humanitarian, relief and social services that will help relieve and alleviate the afflictions and miseries of people from all walks of life, particularly those who are poor and needy; and

WHEREAS, the Foundation’s various social-impact pro- jects in selected areas all over the country deserves the wholehearted support of ail segments of the community;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINQ, Fresident of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Hrotherhood of Caring Samaritans, Inc., to conduct a national educational and fund campaign for a period of one year effective upon the isstiance of this Firoclamation.
