MALACANANG RESIDENCE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLA.1fATION No. 249 DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JUNE 12 TO 19, 1964, AS FILIPINO RETAILERS WEEK WHEREAS, Filipino retailers playa vital role in the deve­ lopment of the national economy; and WHEREAS, it is desirable to give impetus to the national­ izationbf the retail trade; Now, THEREFORE, I, Diosdado Macapagal, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law,do hereby declare the period from June 12 to 19, 1964, as Filipino Retailers Week. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and eaused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
