BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 253

DECLARING FRIDAY, 25 AUGUST 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF ILOILO

WHEREAS, on Friday, 25 August 2017, the City of lloilo marks its 80"

Charter Day; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of lloilo, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate

ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, |, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday,

by 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Iloilo.
