PROCLAMATION NO. 254

DECLARING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2002, AS A SPECIAL NON- WORKING DAY IN ALCALA, PANGASINAN

WHEREAS, Friday, September 20, 2002, marks the Foundation Day anniversary of Alcala, Pangasinan;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the residents of Alcala, Pangasinan be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Friday, September 20, 2002, as a special non-working day in Alcala, Pangasinan.
