PROCLAMATION NO. 259

DECLARING THURSDAY, MAY 12, 1998, AS A SPECIAL HOLIDAY IN ROXAS CITY.

WHEREAS, Thursday, May 12, 1988, marks the 37th anniversary of the Charter of Roxas City; and

WHEREAS, the people of Roxas City should be given full Opportunity te celebrate this occasion with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, 1, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by jaw, do hereby declare Thursday, May 12, 1988, as a special holiday in Roxas City.
