-- MALACANAN(; Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 261 DECLARING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER OF EVERY YEAR AS QUALITY MONTH WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 1905 has set aside the month of October as a period during which concerted efforts may be undertaken to promote quality; WHEREAS, the production of quality outputs should be the continuing concern of both the government and privatesector; WHEREAS, there is a need to furthe enhance the quality awareness of all members of the Philippine Society; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, Pre3ident of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me bylaw, do hereby declare the month of October of every year as Quality Month under the auspices of the Philippine Society for Quality Control, Inc. This supersedes Proclamation No. 35, dated October 11 1986. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to beaffixed.
