• MALACANANG Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 263 DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM ANESTHESOLOGY WEEK OCTOBER 17 23, TO 1993, AS WHEREAS, the Philippine Board of Anesthesiology Founda-tion, Inc., will celebrate its Silver Jubilee in October1993; WHEREAS, it will mark twenty-five years of relentlessunflagging, and earnest efforts in uplifting the standards of practice of the art of anesthesia; WHEREAS, there is a need to increase the awareness of the public regarding the importance of safe anesthesia; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in rue by law, do hereby declare the period from October 17 to 23,1993, as Anesthesiology Week under the auspices of the Philippine Board of Anesthesiology Foundation, Inc.
