MALACANA~ MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 2GB DECLARING THE EXISTENCE OF A STATE OF CALAMITY IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF SULTAN SA BARONGIS, DINAIG, PAGALUNGAN, PENDATUN, TALAYAN, DATU PIANG, MAGANOY, KABUNTALAN, DATU PAGLAS, BULUAN, AMPATUAN, PROVINCE OF MAGUINDANAO, AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAMBAYOG, PROVINCE OF SULTAN KUDARAT WHEREAS, the Secretary of National defense as Chairman of the National Disaster Coordinating Council recommends that the Municipalities of Sultan sa Barongis,Dinaig, Pagalungan, Pendatun, Talayan, Datu Piang,Maganoy, Kabuntalan, Datu Paglas, Buluan, Ampatuan, Province of Maguindanao and the Municipality of Lambayog, Province of Sultan Kudarat, be declared under a state of calamity relative to the overflowing of the Allah River and Rio Grande de Mindanao; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the existence of a state of calamity in the Municipalities of Sultan sa Barongis, Dinaig, Pagalugan,Pendatun, Talayan, Datu Piang, Maganoy, Kabuntalan, DatuPaglas, Buluan, Ampatuan, Province of Maguindanao, and the Municipality of Lambayog, Province of Sultan Kudarat.
