MALACANA~ MANILA mFAJ 7:27 BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 221 DECLARING THE EXISTEINICE OF A STATE OF CALAMITY IN TRE CITY OF PAGADIAJNf, PROVINCE OF NGA DEL SUR WHEREAS, the Secretary of National Defense as Chairman of the National Disaster Coordinating Council recommends that the City of Pagadian, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, be declared under a state of calamity due to the big fire that gutted the City's commercialdistrict. NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me bylaw, do hereby declare the existence of a state of calamity in the City of Pagadian, Province of Zamboanga del Sur.
