M fJ 7.'2 g MALACANAM; Manila BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. a72 DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 8 TO 14, PURCHASING AND MATERIALS MANAGEMENT WEEK 1993, AS WHEREAS, the Purchasing and Materials Management Asso- ciation of the Philippines, Inc. (PMMAP), is a non-stock and non-profit organization of purchasing and materials managers from several of the country's top corporations; WHEREAS, this November, the PMMAP will celebrate its 25th Anniversary in Manila on the theme: "AHEAD WITH LOGISTICS INNOVATIONS -A VISION FOR EXCELLENCE"; WHEREAS, it is desirable that the important role played by the purchasing and materials managers in commerce and in- dustry be brought to the attention of the people; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me bylaw, do hereby declare the period from November 8 to 14,1993, as Purchasing and Materials Management Week.
