BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES BROCLAMATION NO. 273

AUTHORIZING THE “TEODORO F. VALENCIA FOUNDATION, INC., TO CON- DUCT A NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN FOR AygeRTOD OF ONE YEAR. »

WHEREAS, the Teodoro F. Valencia Foundation, Inc., is a non-stock and non-profit organization, whose purpose is to engage in, initiate, stimulate, encourage, support, assist, contribute, undertake and finance exclusively educational, charitable, scientific, character building, youth and sports

development, health, social welfare, and/or cultural activities; and :

WHEREAS, in order to carry out the worthy objectives of

the Foundation, it needs the support and cooperation of the public; .

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the

Philippires, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Teodoro F, Valencia Foundation, Inc., to conduct a national educational, membership and fund campaign

for a period of one year effective upon the promulgation of this Proclamation,

Al> gifts, bequests, donations and or contributions to the Foundation shall be governed by the provisions of Presi- dential Decree No. 507, dated July 16, 1974,

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
