BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 278

DECLARING SATURDAY, 19 AUGUST 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ANGONO, PROVINCE OF RIZAL

WHEREAS. on Saturday, 19 August 2017, the Municipality of Angono, Province of Rizal marks the signing of its independence as a municipality from the municipality of Binangonan, Rizal: and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Angono, Rizal, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, |, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Saturday, 19 August 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Angono, Province of Rizal.
