(PICE) is an association of Civil Engineers, both in the government and private sector, duly accredited by the Professional RegulationCommission; WHEREAS, the Philippine Institute of CivilEngineers, Inc. (PICE) will hold its annual national convention on November 11 to 13, 1993, in Manila: WHEREAS, there is a need to focus public attention on the importance of the Civil Engineering profession and its role in nation-building; NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of thePhilippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from Nove,mber 7 to 13,1993, as "Civil Engineering Week" under the auspices of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc.
