MALACANANG ' -P M S§ Lmpraay Manila MFN BOR BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 286

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1988, AS A SPECIAL HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD.

WHEREAS, the 50th charter anniversary of the City of Bacolod falls on October 19, 1988; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of said city be given full opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO. President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, October 19, 1988, as a special holiday in the City of Bacolod.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
