By virtue of the powere vested in me by the Constitution, I, SGRGIO OSMELA, President of the Philippines, do hereby ex= tend the period of the Fourth “Special Session of the First Con- gress of the Philippines up to and ineluding the eleventh day of December, in the year of Our lord, nineteen hundred and for- ty-five, for the purvose of considering the enactment of legis-~ lation of the nature specified in Proclamation No. 23, as amend= ed by Proclamation No. 25, dated December 3, 1945, and such other matters as may be submitted thereto by the President of the Philippines.

All persons entitled to sit as members of the Congress of the Philippines are requested to take notice of this proclema- tion.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caus ed the seal of the Commonwealth of the Philippines to be affixed.

Done at the City of Manila, this 8th day of December, in the year of Gur Lord, nineteen hundred end forty-five, and of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the eleventh.
