BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 290

DECLARING TUESDAY, 12 SEPTEMBER 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-

WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SIQUIJOR, PROVINCE OF SIQUIJOR

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Siquijor marks the celebration of its 45"

Anniversary as the capital of the Province of Siquijor on Tuesday, 12 September 2017; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Siquijor, Province of Siquijor, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, |, MENARDO |. GUEVARRA, Acting Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Tuesday, 12 September 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Siquijor, Province of Siquijor.
