PROCLAMATION NO. — 293

DECLARING FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2002, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SULTAN KUDARAT

WHEREAS, Friday, November 22, 2002, marks the province’s 29" Foundation Day Anniversary, dubbed as KALIMUDAN FESTIVAL 2002;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the people of the Province of Sultan Kudarat be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their province’s history with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I, Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Friday, November 22, 2002, as a special day in the Province of Sultan Kudarat.
