PROCLAMATION NO. 295

DECLARING TUESDAY, AUGUST 2, 1988, AS A SPECIAL HOLIDAY IN BUTUAN CITY.

WHEREAS, Tuesday, August 2, 1988, marks the 39th Charter anniversary of the City of Butuan; and

WHEREAS, the residents of the City of Butuan should be given the opportunity to commemorate the event with appro- priate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, August 2, 1988, as a special holiday in the City of Butuan.
