BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 296

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 30 AUGUST 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MANDAUE

WHEREAS, on Wednesday, 30 August 2017, the City of Mandaue marks the celebration of its 48" Charter Day; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Mandaue, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, |, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Wednesday, 30 August 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Mandaue.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
