PROCLAMATION NO. 299

DECLARING MONDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2002, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF AGOO, LA UNION

WHEREAS, Monday, December 9, 2002, marks the 424" Foundation Day Anniversary of the Municipality of Agoo, La Union;

WHEREAS, it is fitting that the residents of the Municipality of Agoo, La Union, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me in Book I. Chapter 7, Section 27, of the Administrative Code of 1987, do hereby declare Monday. December 9, 2002, as a special day in the Municipality of Agoo, La Union.
