PROCLAMATIGN NO. 30 MENS

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31, 1988, AS A SPECIAL HOLIDAY IN LIPA CITY.

WHEREAS, Wednesday, August 31, 7988, marks the 41st anniversary of the creation of Lipa City; and

WHEREAS, the resicents of Lipa City should be afforded an opportunity to participate in the cere- monies on that historic occasion;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 31, 1988, a5 a special holiday in Lipa City.
