DECLARING FRIDAY, MAY 12, 2000, AS A SPECIAL DAY IN LUCENA CITY

WHEREAS, Friday, May 12, 2000, is the scheduled date for the holding of recall elections in Lucena City;

WHEREAS, there is a need to declare Friday, May 12, 2000, as a special day to give the electorate of this City full opportunity to participate in the said elections;

U NOW, THEREFORE, I, JOSEPH EJERCITO ESTRADA, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, dé hereby declare Friday, May 12, 2000, as a special day in Lucena City on the occasion of the recall elections.

jl The various local government units shall extehd all possible assistance and . support to ensure the smooth conduct of the said elections.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
