MANILA Mry eJg PROCLAMATION NO. -ill RESERVING AN AREA OF FIVE AND ONE-HALF HECTARES, MORE ORLESS, WITHIN THE ALABANG STOCK FARM SITUATED IN MUNTINLUPA, METRO MANILA, AS THE NEW SITE OF THE CENTER FOR GIRLS AND WOMEN IN DIFFICULT SITUATIONS (the "Center" ) UNDER THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND DEVELOPMENT WH~, Proclamation No. 377 dated 8 April 1968 reserved a parcel of land with an area of fifty-six thousand two hundred eighteen (56,218) square meters within Lot 392 of the MuntinlupaEstate, otherwise known as the Alabang stock Farm, as the site of the then Philippine Training School for Girls (now Center for Girls and Women in Difficult Situations) under the administration of the then Social Welfare Administration (now Department of Social Welfare and Development); WHEREAS, on 14 April 1993, the National Government entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with the Filinvest Development~corporation relative to the development of the Alabang stock Farm.,as a new mixed-use urban center; WHEREAS, considering that the aforesaid reserved parcel of land will be developed as a business and commercial area as envisioned under the Master Development Plan for the Alabang stockFarm, the Department of Social Welfare and Development has recommended that the aforesaid Center be relocated to another portion of the Alabang stock Farm; and WHEREAS, the Department of Social Welfare and Development has determined that the proposed new site for said Center will bebetter suited to serve its mission and improve the delivery of social services. NOW, THEREFORE, I, FIDEL V. RAMOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by law, and upon the recommendation of both the Secretaries of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and Department of Social Welfare and Development, do hereby reserve a portion of the Alabang Stock Farm consisting of fifty-six thousand two hundred eighteen (56,218) square meters for the use by the Center for Girls and Women in Difficult situations under the administration of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, more specifically described as follows: J'Y 93,,180 A parcel of land (portion of Lot 392, SWO-13-000665) situated in the Barrio of Alabang, Municipality ofMuntinlupa, Metro Manila. Bounded on the NW., along points 1 to 25 by pasong Diablo Creek; on the E., by Lot 392, Muntinlupa Estate, and on S. and W. by Lot 392 (SWO- 13-000665), Muntinlupa Estate. TWO HUNDRED Provided, That the above technical description shall be subject to adjustment upon final verification and survey to be undertaken by the Lands Management Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources. Accordingly, Proclamation No. 377 dated 8 April 1968 is hereby revoked, and the parcel of land covered thereby is hereby declared~~ as no longer needed for public use as provided under the saidProclamation, and reclassified as patrimonial property of theState. Corollarily, the authority to administer, manage, lease and dispose the said parcel of land is hereby transferred back to and vested with the Lands Management Bureau of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources; Provided, That the Center may continue occupying the aforesaid parcel of land until the required structures and facilities that will house the Center in its newsite, as herein identified, are completed and made operational.
