Manila 3074 BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES PROCLAMATION NO. 316 «

DECLARING TUESDAY, AUGUST 30, 1988, AS "MANDAUE CITY DAY", A SPECIAL DAY IN THE CITY OF MANDAUE.

WHEREAS, Tuesday, August 30, 1988, marks the Charter Day of Mandaue City; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus public attention on the accomplishments and progress of the City so as to stimulate the interest, cooperation and participation of the residents therein;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare as special day in the City of Mandaue, Tuesday, August 30, 1988, to be known as "Mandaue City Day".

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, | have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
